The family of young Frank Young spoke for the first time, 28 days after his disappearance. The 5-year-old boy was last seen on April 19 at Red Earth Cree First Nation.
Frank Young’s grandmother, Teresa Whitecap, said her family was devastated by the loss of the child, but she remains hopeful she will be found.
” We hope every day Frank comes back to us. I encourage my nephews to keep hope alive and that is what drives us forward. “
Teresa Whitecap said Frank Young was a loving, creative boy who enjoyed playing outside with his friends.
He said he likes to make crafts and give them to his aunt, who is also his nanny.
