A man allegedly damaged a car displaying the Ukrainian flag on Friday in a Walmart parking lot in Markham, a Toronto suburb, according to police.
Between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm, a male suspect visited a Walmart located at 500 Copper Creek Drive. The suspect parked next to a vehicle with the Ukrainian flag visible on the dashboard. The suspect allegedly used a sharp object to remove the paint of the victim’s vehicle, which engraved some deceptive words on the driver’s side door. The suspect fled in a white two-door Smart carread the statement from York Regional Police.
Police described the suspect as follows: male, muscular, bald, wearing glasses, dark jacket, dark pants.
They are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect.
