This Wednesday the ‘Daily Mail’ exclusively points out the interest it would have Pep Guardiola in taking the ex azulgrana Marc Cucurella to the Manchester City this summer. The aforementioned English media outlet says that the Maresme winger, today a Brighton player, meets the requirements that the Barcelona coach wants.
‘Cucu’, 23, arrived at Brighton last summer from Getafe and has made 34 league appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Apparently, City would be prepared to make an offer of 30 million pounds (35 million euros) for the defender.
Brighton paid Getafe £15.4m (€18m) for him, but Sportsmail understands that City would need to offer twice as much to sign him.
