Ariane Dufour was born in 1988, but she has been officially Zacharry-David Dufour since 2014. The story of a profound change, of a little boy born into the body of a girl who became a model and an inspiration for an entire generation.
“That’s my path,” said Zacharry-David Dufour, who, after all these years and steps, didn’t realize how far he had come. Although his family fully supports him in his approach, the young man has experienced some desert crossings, especially as a teenager.
Zacharry-David recalls that 15 or 20 years ago, discussions of transsexuality were more focused on men becoming women. “I didn’t think the opposite was possible,” he said. I knew I was looking for something, but I couldn’t speak. “
A testimony opened his eyes, that of someone who discussed his experience and what he experienced as the show changes. Everyone is talking about it. “It was really a relief. […] This is consistent with [la manière dont] I’ve felt since that moment, at 18, ”Zacharry-David Dufour reveals.“ My ultimate goal, I know this: to be a full-fledged man for me. “
Zacharry-David Dufour had to be patient, however, because there were few resources and information at the time. After all, he started giving lectures on the subject and on his experience: “I think, when you expose yourself to the world, when you’re ready to expose yourself in front of 100, 200, 300 people, it is difficult not to be transparent, ”he said.
Because of his experience, he became interested in psychology, to the point that he began a bachelor’s degree in this field. “I always bathe it. Even with the conferences, I did a bit of the helping relationship, ”he explained. Ultimately, his multiple interests led him to instead pursue his studies within a multidisciplinary bachelor’s degree.
Zacharry-David Dufour has also participated in TV series Girl/girl at i am transand think “that [cette dernière] something has changed in the trans community and in the community in general ”.
Now, as transsexuality has guided his life for a long time, Zacharry-David Dufour wants to define himself as an individual, and for the second stage of his life, he prefers to be a father, along with his wife. “There is so much love I will give,” he said.
