The search to find the teenager who fell into the North River, in Sainte-Adèle, in the Laurentians, has been suspended, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) announced.
The girl fell into the river water on May 12, while standing under the Rolland Street bridge with three other people. The incident happened early this morning. He would have slipped on the rocky surface before falling into the strong current of the stream.
Police were dispatched to the scene to search for the teenager. Some were patrolling the banks near the place where he had disappeared, others were on a watercraft.
