Carl Langlois, 57, was killed Friday at a residence on rue Saint-Paul in Farnham in the Eastern Townships.
Around 12:45 pm, Sûreté du Québec (SQ) police were called to the crime scene. There they found the victim’s corpse lifeless and intercepted another man who was at the scene. Carl Langlois was subsequently taken to a hospital center, where he died of his injuries.
Sent to the scene, investigators from the division’s crimes against the person SQ
confirmed that it was a homicide.Police also used animal control services to retrieve dogs in the area.
As for the man arrested at the scene of the homicide, investigators met him on Friday night. He is expected to appear on Saturday at Granby courthouse.
