A four -unit building was engulfed by fire Saturday in Forestville. According to the city fire department, no one was injured.
The building on rue Verreault was a total loss, according to Forestville fire department director Martin Bouchard.
Emergency services were called around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the fire had spread throughout the building.
Fortunately, all residents were exposed on time. Martin Bouchard confirmed no one was injured.
Firefighters were still at work Saturday afternoon, but the wind tormented them. In total, about 30 firefighters were deployed to fight the blaze.
The fire allegedly started in a vehicle outside the building. However, Martin Bouchard could not provide further explanation on the causes of the fire before the fire was completely extinguished.
