Three witnesses to a violent attack that took place in Magog on Sunday night are wanted by police.
A 70-year-old man was attacked while walking in the area of Saint-Patrice Ouest and Dollard streets around 8 p.m. when an individual pushed him to the ground before he was violently struck on the head. He came out between the two buildings to violently attack the victim who was walking to get to his residence. When the suspect fell, the suspect fought hard and was kicked in the head and face. The victim sustained skull injuries that required hospital treatmentexplanation by Lieutenant Carl Pépin of the Régie de police Memphrémagog.
