Bruno Boisvert-Dallaire’s wife was charged Tuesday with obstruction of police work and conspiracy after the fact in Sherbrooke in connection with the accident that led to Sébastien Filteau’s death.
Bruno Boisvert-Dallaire is the driver charged with hit-and-run and dangerous driving that caused the cyclist’s death in October 2021. This incident took place on rue de l’Alcôve at the corner of chemin Laliberté in the Saint- Elie.
The 34-year-old man was under a driving ban at the time of the accident. The 27-year-old woman was also in the vehicle that collided with the cyclist. He initially said he was driving the vehicle, but the investigation revealed that instead the man caused the accident.
Conditions of release were imposed on him.
When he returned to court on Tuesday, Sébastien Boisvert-Dallaire announced that he had changed lawyers for reasons of conflict of interest.
Me Patrick Fréchette adjourned the file to June 13, the time to study the evidence.
Sébastien Boisvert-Dallaire has been incarcerated since he was arrested in this case in early May.
