Royal Canadian Mounted Police released photos on Friday of a gray 2013 Hyundai Sonata car it believes was involved in the 2019 double murder of an elderly Dieppe couple.

of New Brunswick is investigating the deaths of Rose-Marie and Bernard Saulnier. They were 74 and 78 years old respectively on September 7, 2019, when their bodies were found dead at their home on Amirault Avenue in Dieppe.The double murder of an incidental elderly couple mobilized the community.
Police were stingy with comments, but asked for public cooperation on Friday to get more information on this car.
We are looking for any information that may help us identify the person using this vehicle in September 2019. If you have video footage of this area from this stage, or you know who is driving this car, contact to the police or Crime StoppersRCMP spokesman Corporal Hans Ouellette asked in a statement.
During the investigation, police identified several vehicles, we found out, including a gray Hyundai Sonata in 2013. The car was spotted in Dieppe near the crime scene the same day. Police obtained video images showing the car at the intersection of Acadie Avenue and Champlain Street.
According to police, the car was found a few weeks later in Moncton while another case was being investigated and was determined to have been stolen in Fredericton.
Corporal Hans Ouellette admitted that such an investigation could be long and complicated.
We know that loved ones and members of the victims ’community want answers, just as we do. People have the information we need to bring those responsible to justice. We ask these people to contact us, and help us solve this heinous crime.said the police.
The investigation is ongoing.
