Soldier Claude Houde has denied the accusations against him

Master Corporal Claude Houde, who faces three counts of sexual assault, was interrogated Saturday morning at the Bagotville court-martial base. Defendant denied all allegations against him.

The man also denied being alcoholic or being violent.

Defense attorney Me Jean-Marc Tremblay questioned his client in a way that would damage the credibility of the alleged victim. The soldier was the only witness in the defense.

A lawyer pleads.

The soldier specifically said that he would have stolen money from her several times. The latter was not in court martial at the time of interrogation.

Late Saturday afternoon, Major Antoine Desaulniers, representing the complainant, conducted a cross-examination. Radio Canada can only follow the cross-examination phase.

The accused was asked about his alleged fight with the alleged victim. The prosecution is trying to find flaws in the man’s testimony.

The closing of the lawyers ’arguments will take place on Monday.
