A former daycare educator was convicted of sexually assaulting a boy Monday morning in a Quebec City courthouse.
Nicolas St-Pierre had sex with a seven-year-old boy who attended his daycare.
The attacker had a romantic relationship with the mother of the little victim.
The judge declared the 39-year-old man guilty of the acts he committed when his wife surprised him.
The injured mother left the residence with her son before filing a complaint with the police.
Nicolas St-Pierre, on the other hand, was acquitted for other incidents the child said he had experienced in recent months.
Passport
The Lévis resident will have to return to court in the coming weeks for sentencing.
He is on condition of release, pending legal process.
On the other hand, the prosecution requested that he provide his passport on his next visit to the Court.
