Four residents were unable to return to their homes after a fire in the Val-Bélair sector broke out on Tuesday at noon.
Fortunately, only the owner was present at the residence at 1424, rue du Grand-Bourg and was able to evacuate without danger.
Firefighters were called to the area after noon. The electric mast of the house was at the source of the fire, which then spread to the roof, the Quebec Fire Protection Service (SPCIQ) indicated via press release.
An hour later, 12:57 pm, firefighters were able to put out the blaze.
No one was injured, but the Red Cross was called to help the four residents assessed by paramedics.

states that the dwelling is equipped with working smoke alarms.Patrollers of the Service de police de la Ville de Québec (SPVQ) are required to bypass traffic during operations.
