Solane Greuier entered the Ministry of Culture and Communications through a placement agency. She would work there for about a year and a half, until an employee accidentally discovered that her name was Solange Crevier.
The 59-year-old woman pleaded guilty last week to charges of false document use and fraud, at a Quebec courthouse.
This is not the first time Solange Crevier has cheated an employer in this way. He also worked under false identity at Desjardins headquarters in Lévis and in senior management at VIA Rail in Montreal.
Convicted of fraud in 2007, the Blainville resident has since used false identities to evade security checks on potential employers.
From September 2014 to January 2016, he was able to execute several contracts within the Ministry of Culture. He was able to get paid in his real name by forging a contract, to put his bank details on it.
Subcontracting
As part of another mandate, he managed a project where he proposed hiring a subcontractor for $ 24,300.
Solane Greuier however, the contract awarded to the subcontractor was amended, for which the latter received $ 15,000.
The cheater just put the difference in his pockets.
Solange Crevier will return to court in the fall for sentencing.
At that time, the judge will also hear judgment submissions for events that took place in Desjardins, where he worked between 2015 and 2017.
He was able to work there for two years by unknowingly using the identity of a member of his family.
The fraudster pleaded guilty to the charges in November. He provided the requested services for which he charged more than $ 500,000 in fees.
In the case of VIA Rail, he has already served his six -month sentence, which was imposed in October.
