More specifically, the SPVQ said in a statement that the two suspects used the grandson’s fraud scheme to deceive their victims.

This type of fraud consists in pretending to be the victim’s grandson or one of his relatives and then asking him for an amount of money.

In this case, the suspects allegedly pretended to be lawyers and mentioned that the victim’s granddaughter had an accident with a pregnant woman.

The arrest of the two men in their twenties comes after three complaints were filed on Tuesday in connection with this type of fraud.

The suspects were released on promise to show up.

The suspects may have other victims. If so, the police are asking potential victims to come forward.
