This is an opportunity for many to learn about this activity, as no license will be required to fish during the event other than Atlantic salmon.

Sherbrooke Fishing Festival Committee president David Bouchard explained that activities are planning from June 3 to 5.

I feel like fishing has become popular. We have felt an increase in fishermen in pandemic streamsexplained Mr. Bouchard.

He pointed out that a stocking of spotted trout and rainbow trout would be made in the Magog River.

It is a golden opportunity to have funding for this planting.

A quote from David Bouchard, President of the Sherbrooke Fishing Festival Committee

You can fish at Lac des Nations, near Drummond dam or Blanchard beach. It is also possible to go to the Massawippi River, to Lake Massawippi, Lake Magog or Memphremagog. There is pike, carp and natural trout mention of Mr. Bouchard.

Knowing safety regulations and rules, identifying fish species, and knowing how to hook your lure and remove your fish are some basic principles for fishing, he taught.

These are the things that will be taught during the Ministry of Wildlife’s beginner fishing initiation courses. We trained about 300 people in schools. We will meet them at the Howard estate. More than 150 registrations have been confirmed. There will be between 30 and 50 places for introductory courses at Blanchard Park over the weekend emphasized by David Bouchard.
