Attorney Me Louis Fortier, from Sherbrooke, sent a second formal notice in the Faubourg Mena’Sen case. This time, it was directed to the Registraire des entreprises du Québec.

Me Fortier requests that the Registrar cancel the dissolution of the organization. The lawyer believes the government body failed in its duty of verification.
The lawyer also sent a formal notice to former Faubourg Mena’Sen administrators in May. He believes the sale to private interests is illegal.

Recall that lawyer Serge Dubois, who acted in the media as spokesperson for former Faubourg Mena’Sen executives, indicated a few weeks ago that the first formal notice was based on “baseless” statements. He also ensured that the transaction was legal.
