A suspicious fire severely damaged two vehicles in Pierrefonds-Roxboro

Two vehicles were severely damaged by a suspicious fire that broke out Friday night in the Pierrefonds sector, northwest of Montreal.

The Montreal Police Department (SPVM) indicates that no one was injured in the incident.

It was a call to the 911 emergency telephone exchange that alerted authorities around 1:45 am A car was on fire in the parking lot of a building.

When they arrived at the scene, on Boulevard Gouin Ouest near the intersection of Boulevard Saint-Jean, firefighters from the Montreal Fire Department (SSIM) found that the fire had attacked a second vehicle and threatened a nearby house. Its occupants were evacuated.

The fire was extinguished, but the two vehicles sustained severe damage. The house was saved.

Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, the investigation was returned to the arson squad SPVM. By the end of the night, police still had not reported the arrest.
