A 63-year-old woman with dementia was abducted Saturday morning in Winnipeg’s Unicity neighborhood, local police said.

Sandra McLaughlin was riding in her blue 2012 Jeep Patriot with a Manitoba license plate KXR 852 when she was abducted early in the morning, according to a missing person notice issued by police.

Police said the car had a dent in the driver’s side door near the handle and rust on the side of the wheels. He also wears partial service stickers Class A.

Sandra McLaughlin who was last seen wearing a gray hoodie. He is about 1.80 m tall and has long black and white hair.

The police are worried for his welfare.

Police authorities are looking for a man suspected of kidnapping her. The subject is approximately 1.80 m tall and has black hair. In security videos, he was seen wearing a gray jacket, dark colored shorts, hoodie with white lettering, sandals and white gloves.

The Winnipeg Police Service duty office said more information will be released today.

Police are asking anyone with information about them or where the man is to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
