The manager of Tenerife, Luis Miguel Ramisassured after the victory against UD Las Palmas (1-2), that his team’s passage to the final for promotion to LaLiga Santander means “the most powerful moment” of his sports careerbut recalled that they still “have nothing” achieved.
The cause? Win at the home of the eternal rival with a full Gran Canaria Stadium and, above all, being in the final round to be promoted: “Winning here as they had prepared everything, with the stadium full, and showing up in this way, is the most powerful moment of my sports career”.
Ramis praised his team for the “spirit and character” that finally gave them the “prize” of reaching the final: “Some were going to laugh and others to cry, and luckily we laughed. We were convinced that we had to score here, we are difficult and uncomfortable, and we have not become small, we have become big”, affirmed the Tenerife coach.
The blue and white coach said that his team had played “two very good games” to overcome a “difficult tie” against an “extraordinary” rival, and he dedicated it to the fans “because we work, dream and get excited just like them“.
