The ‘Juve’ keeps fighting for Morata. As reported on Tuesday by the Italian newspaper ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, Cherubini will travel to Spain to meet with Atlético de Madrid and try to lower the price asked by the ‘mattresses’ for the Spanish international.

The transfer agreement two years ago contemplated a purchase right for 35 million euros, but after having paid 20 million in these two seasons for the transfer, the Turin team sees the figure as too high, and intends to lower it to 15 million more objectives.

Morata has never hidden his desire to remain in the ‘Vecchia Signora’, and his coach, the Italian Massimiliano Allegri, has always held him in good regard. With the arrival of the Serbian Dusan Vlahovic to the Turin ranks, Morata left the position of center forward to play as a left winger, where he left good feelings at the end of the campaign.

However, the negotiations may take longer during the summer, because according to the same media outlet, Atlético de Madrid would be willing to listen to offers from other clubs interested in the Madrid player’s services.

It is at that moment that the Argentine Giovanni Simeone, the ‘Cholito’, a striker owned by Cagliari but who has been on loan at Hellas Verona (17 goals, 4 assists) and who interests Juventus as the team’s second striker, comes into play. EFE
