The long delay in the issuance of Canadian passports is giving travel agencies a headache. Although the removal of sanitary measures has re-ignited the fervor of travelers, the momentum of those with expired passports has rapidly slowed.

According to Ms. Paquin, people who want to leave this summer are late in drafting their request because the average wait at Passport Canada is estimated at eleven weeks.
Before the pandemic, it was a three -week wait. Even on a trip of three months, I would worry about not having my passport on time.added Ms. Paquin.
