Many First Nations leaders from the Fraser Valley are expected to take part in this meeting, according to Garett Dan, a member of the group. Crazy Indians Brotherhood.

Mr. Dan helped organize this memorial walk at the Mission aimed at paying attention to the issue of residential schools. Four people were reportedly hit by the “impatient driver”, according to RCMP.

Garett Dan said a man in a van threw himself at pedestrians proceed.

Our countrymen have gone through a lot of trauma and abuse in residential schools and it cannot be erased lightly. It’s like telling a veteran to move on after the war.

A challenged process

Monday, the RCMP A 77-year-old man said he surrendered to police and his truck was taken for examination. The man was not restrained.

They were more responsible with his truck than he was. They kept his truck, but were allowed to go homesaid Garett Dan, adding that he was extremely upset with the police handling of the case.

A walk to the old Indian residential school in st. Mary moves, Mr. Dan said, because participants requested that sharp GPR radar be used to search the site for possible unmarked graves of children who had not survived their time at this institution.
