Lyon announce the signing of Lacazette

The olympique de lyon has announced the long-awaited return to the club of its home-trained striker, Alexander Lacazette, for the next three seasons. At the end of the contract with the Arsenalthe French international has signed until June 30, 2025.

Transferred to the ‘gunner’ club in July 2017 for the record sum of 60 million euros (bonus included), Alexandre Lacazette, at 31, made the decision to return to the entity that has seen him grow and become one of the the greatest strikers in history, and this despite requests from many of Europe’s top clubs in recent weeks.

Arrived at Lyon in 2003 at the age of 12, the French international (16 caps) played 15 seasons, 8 of which with the professional team shirt with which he played 275 games and scored 129 goals.
