At around 6:10 p.m., a vehicle occupant traveling on boulevard Perras near the intersection of boulevard Rodolphe-Forget, in Rivière-des-Prairies, fired in the direction of another vehicle in motion.

No suspects or victims were found by officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) a few hours after the event, but several empty gun projectiles were found on the ground, on the boulevard Perras.

At 10:30 pm, someone who called the 911 emergency center reported that the explosions were heard only at the intersection of boulevard de Maisonneuve Est and rue Sanguinet, downtown.

Arriving at the scene, the police SPVM saw several shell casings on the ground and observed projectile impacts on a vehicle and on a building, but no casualties were reported.

The orange tape marks a crime scene.

Finally, about an hour later, around 11:30 pm, another 911 call reported gunshots at the intersection of Ethel and de l’Eglise streets, in Verdun borough.

Soon, firefighters from the Montreal Fire Department (SSIM) reported in SPVM that in the same place, a wounded man sought their help at the intersection of boulevard LaSalle and rue Galt.

It appears that this man was walking with a woman where gunshots were heard earlier and it hit her in the legs. He was taken to a hospital where he was in stable condition on Thursday morning.

The lady was not hurt.

Blanks from gun projectiles were found at the shooting scene. No one was arrested.

Investigators from SPVM and the canine squad began examining the scene.

In the middle of the night, police were unable to establish any link between the various shootings.
