The search continued Thursday in Vancouver after an abandoned boat was discovered Wednesday afternoon in the waters of English Bay.

A boat was found abandoned Wednesday in the bay, with ignition keys, but no one aboard.
Several Coast Guard, Vancouver Police and Air Force helicopters took part in the search Wednesday afternoon. The Rescue Coordination Center said other boats will be added to the search teams on Thursday.

Investigators are trying to determine where exactly the boat was rented, but confirm that the source of the trip was in Vancouver.
Authorities are asking anyone who sees anything strange in the water or on the beaches near English Bay to call 911.
