Murder trial: Lise Danais’ former colleague said he did not touch her

The colleague with whom Lise Danais filed the sexual harassment complaint continues to be questioned at trial for her murder on Friday.

The defense continued to examine Lise Danais’ co -worker, who could not be identified due to the court’s publication ban.

During the trial, this colleague expressed his disinterest in the death of Lise Danais.

When asked about the sexual harassment complaint against him, he said they were false allegations. He added that he did not touch it.

However, he admitted that he made a sexual joke against her.

For her, her relationship with Lise Danais was strictly professional, though she thought to some extent it interested her.

Since the trial began, the defense has questioned Crown witnesses about this companion, and has repeatedly suggested that it is possible this man killed Lise Danais, and not the young man currently charged. .

In her testimony on June 2, the victim’s ex -wife Lorne Vandersteen said Lise Danais felt her ex -partner’s spy. Lorne Vandersteen notably suggested that she change her route to get to work.

The hearings will continue on Monday.
