A woman in her 40s died Friday night after leaving the road on Bailey Road in West Bolton. Emergency services were called to the scene around 11:30 p.m.
According to initial information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the driver lost control of his vehicle before rolling one or more times and colliding with a power pole.
The woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
An investigation was launched to determine the causes and circumstances of this accident.
Exit the road to Frontenac
Another accident caused serious damage to Route 161 in Frontenac. The accident occurred Friday night through Saturday around 3 p.m.
According to authorities, the twenty -year -old driver lost control of his vehicle before it crashed into the vehicle which rolled over.
The young man was taken to hospital where he will rest Saturday morning in critical condition, SQ indicates.
Officers do not remove loose seat belts and drive while with an alcohol or drug disability.
