The 21 FCFA members will have to elect 8 members to the new board of directors of the Federation of Francophone and Acadian communities. And even without strictly speaking a representative from Saskatchewan, the president of the Fransaskois Community Assembly, Denis Simard, said he was confident that Francophonie issues in Saskatchewan would be considered.

Note that last week, in early June, the director general of the Assemblée communautaire fransaskoise ACF, Ronald Labrecque, and Denis Simard, president of the ACF, went to Ottawa for important meetings.

On June 9, the Leaders ’Forum was held, then a few days later, on June 11, was the 47th annual general meeting of the Federation of Francophone and Acadian Communities (FCFA) of Canada.

Important discussions took place about the future of the Francophonie in the country.
