The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) arrested five men Tuesday morning in a sexual assault case against a minor victim.
The alleged crimes allegedly took place between 2014 and 2021, at the residence where the victim lives, according to David Pelletier, spokesman for SPVQ.
Following a denunciationan investigation was launched in May 2022.
Now aged 18 to 24, two of the five suspects arrested were then adults. Everyone knows the victim, but it is not known yet if the suspects will meet.
The five men will face charges of sexual assault.
They were released on a promise that would appear someday.
Police did not mention which sector of Quebec City the crimes were committed, as the victim had not yet reached the age of majority at the time of writing these lines.
