There is already a date for UEFA presidential elections. They will be at the next Ordinary Congress of said body, which will take place in Lisbon on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
The first item on the agenda set for then is the election of the UEFA president for a four-year term, in addition to nine members of the UEFA Executive, of which at least one of them has to be a woman. Eight will be elected for a period of four years and another for two.
It will also be in said Congress where it will be decided who will be in the four European members of the FIFA Councili.e. two FIFA vice-presidents for a four-year term (one of which will be proposed by the four British associations) and two ordinary members, i.e. one for a four-year term and one for a two-year term .

As far as the presidency is concerned, it will be the last time that the current president, Aleksander Ceferin, will be able to appear to the elections to occupy this position, after the limit that the Slovenian himself agreed to set, a maximum of three terms for the presidency of UEFA. Ceferin took office in September 2016 and was re-elected on February 7, 2019.
In addition to Ceferin, candidates for the post of UEFA president must submit their candidature in writing at least three months before the Congress is held. That is, at the latest on Thursday, January 5, 2023. As an essential requirement, that the proposed candidate cannot be more than seventy years old.
In addition, the re-election of the members of the Executive Committee will also be held, within which is Luis Rubiales, President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), as Executive Vice President of UEFA.
