Juanfran Torres, former international soccer player and new sports vice president of the intercitystated at the presentation of the Alicante club’s project that “it is a very nice challenge and I face it with the utmost humility and professionalism”, while confirming the continuity of Gustavo Siviero as coach of the team in the next season.
The former player of Atletico Madrid and of the Spanish team, he explained that he accepted the vice-presidency of the first Spanish club listed on the Stock Exchange “because of the values it represents. When I became a shareholder, I promised to collaborate in any way on this project, so I am very happy to be part of it”.
The sports vice president of Intercity confirmed the continuity of Gustavo Siviero as coach of Intercity in the First RFEF. “For us he is someone fundamental for everything he transmits, so he will continue. We are already working together on the preparation of the template”, Indian.
Regarding the shortcomings in facilities, Juanfran Torres announced that “we want to continue playing at the Antonio Solana stadium in Alicante and there is already an agreement with the City Council to carry out the reforms required to play First RFEF matches” and added that “We are also working on a sports city project. Jorge López, who was Valencia’s technical secretary, acknowledged that “the goal is to go up” and for this he considers that Intercity will have to make a dozen signings.
