One of the three suspects wanted in La Ronge has been arrested

Saskatoon police arrested Terrance Daigneault at a business on Northridge Drive, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The suspect was the subject of a wanted poster after a shooting which occurred in La Ronge on Sunday, during which projectiles hit the windshield of a car of the RCMP and perforated the radiator.

Terrance Daigneault, 28, is charged with attempted murder and intentional discharge of a firearm.

Two other people are still wanted by the police in La Ronge.

The police warn the public not to approach these suspects and to call the police if they are seen.

Allan Sanderson, 36, is charged with obstruction and unauthorized use of a firearm in a vehicle.

Celina Charles, 22, is charged with obstruction. She is 1.5m (5ft 11in) tall and weighs 50kg (112lbs), with black hair and brown eyes. She has a rose tattoo on her left hand, a heart and a flame on her left arm, and the word Charles is tattooed on her chest. Police believe she was in the car she was chasing during the incident on Sunday.

The RCMP Saskatchewan is working tirelessly to arrest those responsible, Northern District Chief Superintendent Ted Munro said in a statement.

The community and leaders must work in partnership with us to deter and prevent criminal activity at all levels, including providing advice and information on the whereabouts of these wanted persons.

The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations of Saskatchewan (FSIN), is asking the suspects to surrender.

We don’t want the violence to continue and we don’t want anyone hurt or worse.said Deputy Chief Dutch Lerat. The chief asks the suspects to turn to peace and of seek our spirituality for traditional healing.
