“Last year the team could see how from a very complicated situation they became very strong and came out ahead. You can see that in the group. I am very hungry to continue growing, very ambitious and excited to get a place in the First Division Division and register my name in this club,” he said.

“It is true that I have had many options of teams to go to. Getafe It was a very solid team and they had been interested for many months. I greatly appreciated the interest you have shown for a long time. Also his ambitious project. I have friends who have been here. Timor, Borja Mayoral, Sandro… Everyone has spoken very highly of the club and the dressing room. What they told me was very important,” he said.

Questioned by the coach who has marked him the most in his career, he stated that they have all been important to him, although he highlighted the figure of José Rojo Martín “Pacheta”, who made him debut in the First Division two seasons ago.

“Each coach brings you different things. I have had experiences of not playing much with coaches and I have learned a lot. With others I have played a lot and I have not learned as much. pacheta He gave me his hand to play in the First Division and I thank him very much, but each one of them has given me a lot to be the player I am now”, he commented.

He also explained the reasons why he liked the project of the Getafe and pointed out that it is a “very consolidated” club in the First Division and, above all, he insisted on the good words of all his friends who played in the azulón team, who were important in choosing the entity he presides over Angel Torres.

“It has always been a club that I have followed a lot because I am from Madrid. I have it as a humble, family club that does things well and that is very close from the inside. Outside you can see what a great team it is and how far they can go.”

“The objective is going to be seen week after week. We have to focus on preparing ourselves well in the preseason. The beginning is important and the League will tell us,” he added.

He also stressed that the support of his fans will be “important” and stressed that for several seasons more people have come to the Alfonso Pérez Coliseum to see the Getafe: “All together we can achieve great things.”

Lastly, he referred to the fourteen goals he scored last season at the Huesca in the Second Division: “If I can maintain those figures in the First Division, it would be perfect. I have played in many positions, six, eight, midfielder and we will see what position he wants me to be as coach. For me it is very important to score goals,” he concluded.
