An unsightly counter-demonstration organized on Tuesday on the sideline of an NDP rally in central Ontario could not be punished, according to authorities.

Peterborough Police said in a video shared on social media on Thursday that they had received a complaint and opened an investigation into the incident. circumstances where NDP leader Jagmeet Singh was repeatedly harassed and insulted by protesters.
