This announcement, made as part of National Indigenous Peoples Day, represents a record number of Indigenous candidates for a party in Quebec.

Québec solidaire co-spokesperson Manon Massé, who believes that the current government has led to a deterioration in the relationship between the provincial government and the First Nations, is delighted with this record.

That says more than any promise.
