Respondents satisfied with the situation in the Assembly

In addition, 58% of those surveyed say they are satisfied with the new composition of the National Assembly. This situation of plurality and this new culture of compromise seems to suit the majority of those interviewed: 71% believe that opposition MPs should try to negotiate with the majority more often.

However, this position is not unanimous within the left coalition. When 82% of the supporters of the PS or the EELV want to seek a compromise, 55% of the supporters of the LFI prefer that the deputies be in a position of rejection.

Finally, Marine Le Pen is the opposition figure with the highest rate of influence: 39% of French people want her to have more importance in political life.

This survey was carried out using the quota method, via the Internet, between July 19 and 21, with a sample of 1,000 people representative of the French population aged 18 or over. The margin of error is between 1.4 and 3.1 points.
