Emmanuel Macron and Elisabeth Borne saw their popularity stagnant in July, each with 38% positive opinions, according to an Ifop poll for Sunday’s newspaper.
The Head of State thus remains stable with respect to June, although it has dropped 4 points since February. He has thus remained in a constant range for almost two and a half years and the start of the Covid crisis, between 36 and 43% of favorable opinions in this barometer.
As for Elisabeth Borne, appointed in May at Matignon, she grabbed a point of popularity (38%), after a sharp drop in June when she had gone from 45% to 37%. But 54% of those consulted also say they are dissatisfied with her performance, two points more than a month ago, while 8% do not comment.
Survey conducted on a sample of 1,017 people, representative of the French population aged 18 and over, surveyed online between July 21 and 22, 2022, according to the quota method with a margin of error between 1.4 and 3 ,1 points.
