After several days of intense debate, the bill “on emergency measures for the protection of purchasing power” will be definitively approved on Wednesday.

Deputies and senators who are members of the Mixed Joint Commission (CMP) reached an agreement on the bill “on emergency measures for the protection of purchasing power,” the National Assembly announced on Monday.

Approved in first reading by the deputies on Friday, July 22, and then by the senators last Friday, the text will be definitively voted on this Wednesday.

“LREM and LR have negotiated everything”

It includes several measures such as the increase in retirement pensions and various subsidies, the deconjugation of the disabled adult subsidy (AAH) or the continuation of the Macron bonus.

The Senate, dominated by the right, also examines the modified budget project for 2022, which includes the second part of measures in favor of purchasing power, since Monday afternoon in first reading. A CMP of deputies-senators will meet on Wednesday night on this more thorny text, whose final approval is expected on Sunday.
