Thomas Bordeleau agrees with the Sharks

Bordeleau’s third -generation is knocking on the NHL door. Thomas, son of Sébastien and grandson of Paulin Bordeleau signed a three -year agreement with San José Sharks.

A product of the University of Michigan and the U.S. National Under-18 Development Program, Thomas Bordeleau has 11 goals and 25 assists in 36 games this season for the Wolverines.

With a difference of +17, he contributed to his team’s participation in the final round of the Frozen Four, a major end-of-season tournament in the NCAA.

Rookie of the year in the first division in 2020-2021, he scored 19 goals and 47 assists in 60 games in the two seasons he spent in Michigan.

Holding dual American-Canadian nationality, she also made her mark in the Quebec Collegiate AAA League with Phénix du Collège Esther-Blondin, where her grandfather Paulin worked as head coach.

The 20-year-old Houston, Texas, Bordeleau native is a 2nd-round pick, 38th overall, of the Sharks in the 2020 NHL Draft.
