From 12, at the Lusail Stadium, the Argentina national team plays the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup against France. Lionel Scaloni has not yet confirmed the starting team or the scheme, even if in the press conference he declared that he has already defined it.
A crowd of Argentines is expected on the pitch, and another in every city in the country after the match. There will be no buses in most cities and the anxiety of the fans has been felt on social media. It’s today, it’s now. Argentina aims for the third star.

The teams of Argentina and France have met in a total of 12 matches. Albiceleste won 6 times and the European Championship 3, while the remaining matches ended in a draw.
At the World Cup, however, Argentina won 1-0 in 1930 with a goal from Luis Monti, and in 1978 2-1, with a goal from a penalty by Daniel Passarella and another by Leopoldo Luque (Michel Platini discounted).
The most recent memory is that of Russia 2018, when Argentina were eliminated in the round of 16 after losing 4-3. Ángel Di María, Gabriel Mercado and Sergio Agüero converted for the squad led by Jorge Sampaoli and which had Lionel Scaloni as assistant on the pitch.
