After repercussions, Dana White justified and apologized for what happened on New Year’s Eve
UFC boss, Dana White, was caught slapping his wife in the face Anne White. The two exchanged blows during the New Year’s celebration in the United States.
In a video published exclusively by TMZ, the couple is arguing when Anne slaps the president in the face, who retaliates with two slaps to the woman’s face and pushes her.
Married for 26 years, the two were clearly drunk, according to witnesses. The conflict would have lasted a few minutes. The two were in a nightclub box with friends, which gave more visibility to the scene.
TMZ spoke to Dana and he stated that the two were very drunk, but that it did not justify the aggression: “You’ve heard me say for years, ‘There’s never an excuse for a guy to get his hands on a woman,’ and now I’m here on TMZ talking about it.”
He still said he was embarrassed by the “horrible” incident and that they are fine, but the biggest concern now is for their three children, with whom they have already spoken about the fight.
“Dana and I have been married almost 30 years. We had a lot to drink on New Year’s Eve and things got out of hand, on both sides. We’ve talked about it as a family and apologized to each other. I just hope that people respect our privacy for the sake of our children,” said Anne.
