Brazilian soccer player Dani Alves has been denounced by a woman before the Justice of Barcelona, ​​​​Spain, who accuses him of sexually abusing her in the early morning of December 31st. The woman who would have been the victim of sexual assault in a Barcelona nightclub by the former player of the Catalan club Daniele Alves he formalized his complaint to the Mossos d’Esquadra, as Catalan policemen are known.

According to his complaint, in the early hours of December 31, the Brazilian player made a “touching yourself under your underwear without her consent” when he was with some friends at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona.

After the incident, the woman and her friends alerted the nightclub’s security personnel, who activated the relevant protocol in such cases and alerted the police.

The Catalan police officers went to the scene of the events and took a statement from the alleged victim of this sexual violence.

In the end, the woman officially filed a complaint with the Mossos d’Esquadra last Monday, 2 Januaryas reported to the Spanish agency EFE by sources of the institution, so much so that the Catalan police have already officially opened an investigation into the former Barça player.

From the beginning, Mossos groups specialized in assisting victims of sexual violence have accompanied and advised the alleged victim, as established by the body’s protocol in these cases.

Now, the Mossos will process the complaint to the courts so that open legal proceedings that could end with a summons to the former Barça player so that he can offer his version of the events that transpired that night at the Sutton nightclub.

Shortly after the woman reported having suffered sexual assault, Dani Alves returned to Mexico, given that he plays for the Pumas in that country, so much so that the Barcelona court investigating the case could even summon the player virtually if he esteemed him timely.
