Carlos Tevez: “I don’t miss the world of Boca or football, it exhausted me”

“I take a step to the side,” said Carlitos Tevez at the end of the local tournament and greeted Rosario Central. His departure from Central caused a sensation and the former Boca Juniors confirmed: “I had the opportunity to stay at Central, but I didn’t stay because of a political issue”. At the time he had specified that he would leave the club because the change of date of the elections and the politicization of the institution had been the main reasons that had convinced him to step aside.

Even so, analyzing his first phase as a coach in which he achieved six wins, 10 draws and seven defeats, he said: “Being a coach was a good experience, I like it. The strategic part was what I liked about more. I liked it.” And he added: “I’m enjoying the moments. I’m with the family on the ranch I have. I like to enjoy the affection of the people”.

The World Cup and Messi

Carlitos also recounted how he experienced Argentina’s conquest at the World Cup in Qatar and confessed: “I followed the World Cup a bit. I followed France a lot because it was a team I liked.”
