Flat Riverdirected by Martin Demicheliswill close out his US friendly tour tonight when he takes on Vasco da Gama of Brazil, after triumphs against Monterrey of Mexico and Millonarios of Colombia, in preparation for the premiere of Professional soccer league.
The match will be played at Orlando’s Exploria Stadium, starting at 21:30 Argentine time, and will be broadcast by Star+.
Núñez’s club preparation has, according to Demichelis, been “very good” so far, as he faces his debut for the local tournament against Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero as visitors on 28 January.
Demichelis’ River got the first victories of the year with two different formations to analyze alternatives.
The former defender of River and Bayern Munich in Germany is currently trying for the team to understand and execute his game idea. According to what has been observed on US soil and to the various declarations of their leaders, the plan is working.
The Brazilian team has among its ranks the Argentine Luca Orellano, ex Vélez, who has a chance to start. Vasco’s year began with the championship in Rio de Janeiro (14 January), with a goalless draw against Madureira, but with an alternative formation.
