Campazzo also showed his magic on the parquet of the Alexander Nikolic Hall from Belgrade. One of the most applauded appearances of the Cordoba took place in the last minute of the first quarter, when he stole a ball from the edge of the three line from his own basket, crossed the whole field and, after penetrating, slipped into several rivals, they hit a brace, almost falling, for the partial 22-20.

In the Serbian team they enjoyed the good understanding on the pitch between the two Argentines, responsible for several good plays and great figures in the match, together with the Croatian Ognjen Dobricwho didn’t miss a single shot in the whole match: he made 3-3 doubles and 4-4 triples, for a total of 18 points.

With the win, Red Star moved up to second place in the standings, which they occupy with 29 points and a 14-1 record. The leader is partisanalso from Belgrade, with 30 points and one game more (14-2).

The Argentine team’s next engagement in the tournament will be on Sunday as a guest against FM extensionanother of the teams from the Serbian capital.

Red Star is one of the great powers of the Adriatic League. Together with Partizan he is one of the greatest historical winners, with six titles each. Those six crowns have been won in the last seven editions. He shouted champion in 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17; finished second, behind buducnost, from Montenegro, in 2017/18; and bagged another hat-trick between the 2018/19 and 2021/22 seasons (2019/20 was canceled due to the pandemic).
