Verón captured the news from a portal in La Plata and wrote over the image: “If they were two men, the activists would be marching and demanding justice… but no, very quiet.” Y added the hashtag #JusticiaporLucio.

Subsequently, Verón shared a video that tells how the two alleged killers of the boy tried to hide the fact.

Verón’s publication comes after the evidence exposed in the trial for the gruesome crime. One of the key elements that made it possible to reach this conclusion arose from cell phones: they were the chat conversations between the two defendants. The verdict of this trial will be announced on February 2.

The prosecutors’ indictment and complaint allege that Abigail Páez and Magdalena Esposito Valenti physically and sexually assaulted Lucio Dupuy on Friday, November 26, 2021, between 5:30pm and 7:40pm.

They hit him in the arms, legs and body resulting in multiple injuries: he had bruises on his abdomen, chest, back, face and skull. In addition, another contusion on his back: it was the mark of the sole of the shoe that Páez had on the night of the crime.

The blows caused blood and fluid to pool in the brain, liver rupture, and internal bleeding caused blood to pool in the stomach area. “These wounds caused his death, after an agony,” prosecutors said, based on the autopsy performed by doctor Juan Carlos Toulousse.

But the autopsy also revealed that “both sexually abused the child with carnal attacks on repeated occasions (…), which produced old and recent wounds to the child”. He also had bite marks on his left arm. This is what the prosecution claims. Read more.
