StubHub claims on its website that, on average, its customers have paid for a ticket to the Super Bowl $5,678 per ticket not counting handling fees and other additional charges.

Led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, this season’s MVP and who appears to have recovered from ankle problems, the Chiefs will play their third Super Bowl in four years and will look to repeat the success of 2020, when they took the ring.

For their part, young quarterback Jalen Hurts’ Eagles will be looking for the second NFL title for the Philadelphia franchise after the 2018 triumph with which they inaugurated their record.

Both Andy Reid, the Chiefs coach, and Nick Sirianni, the Eagles coach, organized very light and delicate workouts in which they concentrated above all on strengthening the mental and tactical aspect of their players.

“Let them be themselves.”

That was the advice Reid gave to his Chiefs players on the eve of the Finals, according to the Super Bowl pool of reporters.

“They don’t have to be anything more or anything less. Go and be yourself. That’s what it’s really about and that’s what they’re going to do.”

For his part, Sirianni urged his Philadelphians to take Saturday calmly in the face of what will happen on Sunday.

“We know tomorrow is going to be a long day. So take it easy,” he said.

However, Sirianni spent 45 minutes on Saturday to review some tactical aspects with his players.

“We have a list of situations where we keep adding (plays) and we keep saying, ‘We need to revise this, we need to revise this,'” he said.

“Everything can appear (in the match). We have been doing this for 20 weeks and some (situations) have not yet appeared. Others have. It’s just a matter of studying the videos, adding to your situations, trying to improve,” he added.

For his part, Reid was “happy” that his Kansas City players “had this opportunity” to win a Super Bowl.

“It’s special. To play in a Super Bowl. It’s a great opportunity that doesn’t come along very often,” he said.

Both sides will go into the match unhurt with the exception of Great Britain Covey, who remains a doubt at the Eagles with a hamstring injury.
