Super football Wednesday: Champions with Julián and Lautaro, Racing, Libertadores and the semi-final River vs Banfield

This Wednesday, the first working day of the week in Argentina, tastes like Sunday. Is that the football calendar has established that there are a good number of matches, many of them final, and all to be followed on television from 5pm, or through the web platforms of clarionwith results and plays minute by minute.

A snack, but on the other side of the world, there will also be football, in this case with the start of the Argentine Cup and three all-or-nothing duels to continue in a tournament that always reserves surprises and the possibility of seeing penalties in case of equality.

At 21:00 the first Argentine adventure in the Copa Libertadores begins. Huracán progresses through the standings to the group stage by facing Boston River from Montevideo at the Centenario stadium. The rematch, on March 1, at the Ducó, and the winner will face the winner of the series between Nacional of Paraguay and Sporting Cristal of Peru.

But there’s more, of course. In a single match, starting at 21:00, River and Banfield will play a match to define who will play against Boca for the Champions Trophy corresponding to the year 2020, which was suspended due to calendar problems.

That year Boca won the Super League and the Diego Maradona Cup, which is why the AFA organized a play-off with the runners-up of both competitions in order not to leave a title vacant.
