This definition had to face the winner of the Super League with the winner of the Super League Cup of said 2020. Boca was the champion of the local tournament and the second league of the semester was suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. When activity returned, the Diego Maradona Cup was held and the winner was also Xeneize, so the AFA ordered that the winner of this should face the winner of the Super League.
